The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in many states of the country including Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry on Thursday. On the other hand, according to private agency Sky Met, there are chances of light to heavy rain in 11 states of the country in the coming 24 hours.

According to India Meteorological Department, today there is a possibility of rain in Coastal Odisha, Coastal Gangetic West Bengal, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and some other places. There is also a possibility of rain with lightning and strong thunderstorm at isolated places in Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Mahe.

According to Sky Met, there is a possibility of rain in these 11 states

On the other hand, private weather agency Sky Met has predicted heavy rain at isolated places in Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal during the next 24 hours, apart from this, light rain is expected in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Mizoram, Manipur. Light rain is possible in Nagaland, Assam and Tripura.

Winter hits the capital Delhi, feeling of cold in the states of North India

On the other hand, snowfall in the hilly areas has already started engulfing many states of North India including the capital Delhi, the temperature in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh was recorded at 10.8 degree Celsius in November, the temperature is falling in Uttar Pradesh.
