Weather Update: The weather in Delhi-NCR is expected to change again today. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain and strong winds on Sunday. Maximum temperatures are expected to drop by one to two degrees Celsius during this period.

A major weather update has arrived for those living in the Delhi-NCR region. According to the latest bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather in Delhi is set to change drastically over the next few days. Amidst the scorching heat, clouds and rain are expected to begin, bringing a drop in temperatures.What will the weather be like today and tomorrow?

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi will be most active on March 29th. The sky will remain generally cloudy from this morning. The Meteorological Department has warned that light to moderate rain is possible between morning and afternoon. Thunderstorms and lightning are also possible during this time. Most importantly, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, gusting up to 50 kilometers per hour during this time. Another round of rain and drizzle is also expected between afternoon and evening, with wind speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour.

Temperature Fluctuations

Due to the drizzle that occurred in the past few days, temperatures have been experiencing a significant drop. On Saturday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 33.6 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal. The minimum temperature was 18.8 degrees Celsius, 0.7 degrees below normal. On March 29th and 30th, the maximum temperature is expected to drop to between 30°C and 32°C. The minimum temperature will also remain around 18°C ​​and 22°C, making for pleasant nights and mornings. Light rain is possible in Delhi on Monday, March 30th.

March 30: Generally cloudy skies. Light rain with thunderstorms is expected in the afternoon or evening. The maximum temperature will be around 28-30 degrees Celsius.

March 31: Delhiites will enjoy the company of clouds on the last day of March as well. Light drizzle is possible in the afternoon.

April 1 and 2: The new month will begin with cloudy skies. While heavy rain is unlikely, the movement of clouds in the sky will reduce the effect of sunlight. The temperature is expected to remain between 31 and 34 degrees.

April 3: Delhi’s weather will not be completely clear even in the first week of April. Light rain or drizzle is again expected on April 3.
