Ayushman Bharat: Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman CAPF Health Insurance Scheme has been started by the Government of India on 23 January 2021. Under this scheme health insurance will be provided to the personnel of all the powerful police forces of the country. This scheme has been started on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Ayushman CAPF Health Insurance Scheme has been announced by the Home Minister of our country Shri Amit Shah. He has distributed Ayushman CAPF health cards to some personnel of 7 Centrally empowered Police Forces on the occasion. About 28 lakh personnel of CAPF, Assam Rifles and National Security Guard will be benefited through Ayushman CAPF scheme.
