Corona virus outbreaks are increasing across the country. An institution of such banks has issued new rules and regulations by issuing circulars.
New Delhi: The state-level Bankers Committee UP, an institution of banks, has issued a circular due to the restrictions and reduced working hours and cut down the workforce in view of the increase in the number of corona virus infected. The institution said that these instructions will come into force from 22 April. Therefore, if you have some work with the bank for which you need to go to your bank branch, then these rules and regulations will be useful for you. Read these rules before you leave the house to go to the bank branch.
The State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) is a top inter-institutional forum for the development of the state to create adequate coordination machinery in all states on an equal basis. Currently, SLBC has a Conveyor Bank of Baroda in UP. In the circular, SLBC (UP) has clarified that if any other orders are issued by the central, state government or district administration in view of the situation, they will be implemented.
Latest banking rules
- Banks in UP will open only from 10 am to 2 pm. Banks will be closed every evening in the evening.
- Now customers will get only minimum service in banks. These would include cash deposits and withdrawals, check clearing, government transactions and transactions.
- Only 50% of the employees can be called in a bank at a time, while the rest will work from home. This kind of work will have to be done on rotation basis till the next guideline arrives.
- All alternative delivery channels will continue to operate.
- All the work related to currency chest, ATM, security, data operation, cyber security, clearing house, bank treasury in the bank will continue to work normally.
- All these arrangements have been made from 22 April to 15 May. It can also be extended later on the direction of the government.
- If the district administration issues a new order in view of the state of Corona infection, its order will be considered on priority.
India is currently facing the second wave of the Kovid-19 pandemic, with 2,95,041 new cases of infections in the last 24 hours bringing the number of under-treated patients to over 21 lakh. The total number of infected people increased to 1,56,16,130, while the number of deaths has increased to 1,82,553 with the death of 2,023 more patients.
