FASTag KYC Update: Big news has come regarding Fastag. National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has extended the date of updating Fastag KYC. NHAI has given one more month’s time to update Fastag KYC. Earlier the last date to complete KYC was 31 January 2024. Now KYC of Fastag can be completed by 29th February. Earlier on January 15, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had said that banks will deactivate Fastags with incomplete KYC after January 31, 2024, even if they have valid funds.
To increase the efficiency of the electronic toll collection system and enable seamless movement of vehicles at toll plazas, NHAI has implemented the ‘One Vehicle, One Fastag’ initiative. Its objective is to discourage the use of the same Fastag for multiple vehicles or linking of multiple Fastags to a particular vehicle.
Now the deadline has increased
According to a report in news agency Bhasha, NHAI has given information about extending the KYC deadline in a post on social media platform X. HHAI wrote, “Fastag users! The deadline to implement the One Vehicle – One Fastag initiative and update KYC for your Fastag has been extended to 29 February 2024.”

Download the Fastag wallet app of the company for which the driver has taken Fastag in your mobile. Then login with the mobile number registered in Fastag and go to my profile, where click on KYC and upload the necessary papers. In this way you can also get KYC done easily.
