Gift to 3 million employees
During a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has taken a big decision and announced a bonus for 30 lakh government employees. Giving information about important decisions taken in the cabinet sit, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the government has decided to give bonus to the employees, which will be directly transferred to the employees’ accounts through direct benefit transfer. The government has announced a bonus of Rs 3737 crore for the employees.
Money will come directly into the account before Vijayadashami
Central employees had been waiting for this announcement of the government for a long time. Giving information, Prakash Javedkar said that before Vijayadashami, the amount of bonus will be transferred to the account of government employees beforehand. The Union Cabinet has announced this bonus for 30 lakh 67 thousand non-gazetted government officials and employees, approving the Productivity and Non-Productivity Linked Bonus for the financial year 2019-20. These bonuses will be immediately transferred to the employees’ account through DBT. He said that before Vijayadashami the bonus of Rs 3737 crore will be paid directly to the employees in their bank account.
Big decision for Jammu and Kashmir
Apart from this, the government took a big decision for Jammu and Kashmir and said that many laws of public welfare of the central government were not applicable to Jammu and Kashmir even in India, but now it will not happen. He said that now there will also be power in the hands of public representatives by direct election of District Development Council. Now Kashmir will also have the system of Gram Panchayat, Block Panchayat and now District Panchayat.
