Delhi Weather News: People suffering from the scorching heat in the national capital Delhi are going to get relief. The Meteorological Department has warned of bad weather in Delhi-NCR. IMD has predicted dust storm in Delhi-NCR areas during the next 24 hours. Meteorologists say that the weather will be bad in Delhi from 10 to 13 May. During this period, light rain with strong winds will be seen in Delhi-NCR. The rain will bring down the temperature, which will provide great relief to the people suffering from the heat.

According to the All India Weather Bulletin shared by the Meteorological Department, a fresh western disturbance will affect areas of northwest India from May 9. Scattered to widespread rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds is likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during May 9-12. Its effect will also be visible in the areas of Delhi NCR. The weather will remain bad in Delhi NCR for four days.

The Meteorological Department has warned of a dust storm in Delhi on May 7. During this period the wind speed will be 25 to 35 kilometers per hour. Movement of clouds will be seen in Delhi on 8th and 9th May. A warning of light rain with strong winds has been issued in Delhi on 10, 11, 12 and 13 May. During this period the wind speed will be 25 to 35 kilometers per hour.

Meteorologists say that rain in Delhi will bring down the maximum temperature, which will provide relief to the people suffering from the scorching heat. The maximum temperature in Delhi on May 8 and 9 will be 41 degrees Celsius. A slight increase will be seen on 10th and 11th May but on 12th and 13th May it will be around 40 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in Haryana-Chandigarh, Punjab and Rajasthan on 11th and 12th. The Meteorological Department has predicted a dust storm with strong winds in Haryana and Rajasthan during May 10 to 11.
