PM-KISAN: Do e-KYC today itself otherwise you will not get the installment of Rs 2000.

PM KISAN EKYC Scheme: An installment of Rs 2,000 is being given to the farmers by the Central Government at an interval of every four months. In this way, Rs 6000 is given to the farmers in a year, but for this it becomes necessary for you to update your e-KYC.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana i.e. PM-KISAN, farmers are given Rs 6000 annually. However, for this the e-KYC of the farmers has to be updated. This is a kind of verification, which can be done sitting at home through online mode. If KYC is not updated, your next installment of Rs 2000 may be put on hold. In such a situation, KYC should be updated in time.

According to PM Kisan website, e-KYC is mandatory for farmers registered for PM Kisan Scheme. This OTP based e-KYC is available on PM Kisan Portal. Also, biometric based KYC can be done at the nearest CSC centre. However, we will give you information on how to do e-KYC sitting at home.
