The 52-year-old HR manager committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at the Oyo Hotel in Sector-42 in Gurugram, Haryana. The body remained hanging for about three days. Staff reported to the police on Monday when the hotel smelled. Police removed the dead body and informed its family members.
A suicide note has also been recovered from the room. In which it is written that he committed suicide due to separation from his child and wife. The police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against the HR manager’s wife on the complaint of the nephew of the HR manager.
Sivaj Janjhi, a resident of Ambience Logon DLF Phase-3, has told the police that the deceased Ravi Chopra was his maternal uncle. He was an HR manager in a Gurugram company. He lived in DLF Phase-4 with wife Ritu Kochhar and 10-year-old son Aryan.
Ravi has told that when he met Mama Ravi in Punjabi Bagh Delhi on February 14, he told that his wife Ritu Kochhar is under domestic stress. Ritu has captured all the documents of Ravi. She is not allowing him to meet his son. He is very upset about whom.
Ritu Kochhar has also changed the lock of the house. Along with this, he has sent a legal notice for divorce. Because of which he is not able to go home either. He does not want to live. Ravi has told that after this he was in constant contact with her through phone.
There was no contact with Ravi since 18 February. Ravi has told that on February 22, he got a call from his wart Parminder Singh, who told that Ravi Chopra has committed suicide.
Reported to police stinking hotel
Sushantlok station SHO BIJENDRA told that sector -42 Situ began when the stench Golf Stay Hotel had the staff reported to the police. Police reached the information and removed the body and sent it for postmortem. After that, their families were informed. The SHO has said that after interrogating the hoteliers, it was found that there was no time for Ravi to enter the room.
Ravi did not leave for almost three days. The SHO said that after the relatives arrived, the post-mortem of the deceased was done and the body was handed over to his nephew Sivaj. On Siwaj’s complaint, a case of abetment to suicide has been registered against Mami Ritu Chopra.
Love notes for wife and child written in suicide note
Police have said that Ravi has written in a suicide note that he cannot live without his wife and son. He has also written that by committing his suicide all the problems of his wife will end. After his suicide, surrender his body to his wife.
