IMD Rainfall Update: Alert of heavy rain with strong winds in these states, know the condition of your state

According to the Meteorological Department, today there will be respite from the extreme heat and strong winds, lightning and rain can be seen in many areas. Delhi’s climate

There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorm in Delhi today. Due to this weather activity (rain, storm, strong winds, storm, hailstorm), a drop in temperature can be seen. Whereas in Punjab and Haryana, there may be sporadic rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds (30-40 km per hour). There may be sporadic rain in western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on April 19.

Snowfall alert on mountains

Between today and April 21, there may be rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh and on April 18 and 19 in Uttarakhand along with storm, lightning and strong winds (40-50 km per hour).

Rain alert in these areas also

Light to moderate rain and thunderstorm is also possible in Northeast India. Light to moderate rain may occur in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 18 and 22 April. Scattered light rain is possible in Central Maharashtra and Marathwada between April 18 and 22. There may be scattered rainfall in Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Interior Karnataka.
