NEET PG 2025 Exam Date: There is big news for the candidates appearing in NEET PG 2025 exam, after the postponement of the exam to be held on June 15, now the information about the new date has come to the fore, the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court saying that it will not be able to conduct the NEET PG 2025 exam before August 3.

Recently, the Supreme Court, while giving its decision on the petitions of the candidates who raised objections to the NEET PG exam to be held in two shifts, had ordered it to be conducted in one shift only and directed NBEMS to conduct the exam in one shift only, the court had said that there is still time for June 15 to come, so arrangements can be made.

The exam was to be held on June 15, the board postponed it

On the other hand, after the order of the Supreme Court, the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences postponed the NEET PG 2025 exam to be held on June 15 and issued a notice saying that the new date will be informed soon, which has now come to light.

NBEMS gave this argument in the affidavit

According to the information, in its affidavit, the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences has to arrange 1000 centers in 250 cities to conduct the examination, we have discussed this matter with the technical associate of the board and 3 August is the nearest possible date to conduct the examination in one shift

The Supreme Court had objected to the examination in two shifts

It is worth noting that on May 30, the Supreme Court had criticized the board’s decision to conduct the NEET PG examination in two shifts and directed to conduct the examination in one shift. While hearing the petition, the court had clearly said that conducting the examination in two shifts is arbitrary and it does not create an atmosphere of equality among the students, the level of difficulty of the paper cannot be the same in different shifts, due to which some students may get unfair advantage or loss. After which NBE postponed the NEET PG exam of June 15
