Violent Movement (Kisan Andolan)

Let us know that on the occasion of Republic Day 2021, farmers organized a tractor rally (Farmers Tractor Rally). The farmers’ movement, which has been going on in a peaceful manner for the last 2 months, suddenly became violent during the tractor rally today. The law and traffic system of Delhi was severely damaged due to the violent agitation of the farmers.

On the streets of Delhi, security personnel were seen running with tractor filling the tractor and running sticks behind them. Clashes between farmers and security personnel also took place at many places. The peasants, after demolishing all the security circles, reached the Red Fort and waved their flag there.

Internet Services Suspended

Due to the farmers’ agitation, the Delhi Traffic Police had to close many avenues in the capital. Not only this, Internet services in many areas of Delhi and NCR were also stopped. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation closed many of its stations. But in the evening DMRC (DMRC) has restored its services on the gray line connecting Dwarka to Najafgarh. The gates of all the metro stations located on the gray line were opened and movement of people resumed here.

Police and security forces charged sticks to control the farmers and then fired tear gas shells. Water canons were also used from some places. One farmer died in the whole incident. Many farmers and policemen were badly injured.
