However, there is some relief for the common man within the country; today—April 7—petrol and diesel prices remained stable across major cities. Conversely, oil companies have implemented a massive 25% hike in the prices of industrial diesel.

Today in Delhi, petrol remains steady at ₹94.77 per liter, while diesel stands at ₹87.67 per liter. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, petrol is retailing at ₹103.50 per liter and diesel at ₹90.01 per liter. In Kolkata, the price of petrol is ₹105.45 per liter, and diesel is priced at ₹92.02 per liter. Furthermore, in Chennai, consumers are paying ₹100.84 per liter for petrol and ₹92.39 per liter for diesel.
Following this, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, petrol remains steady at ₹94.49 and diesel at ₹90.16. In Hyderabad, petrol is available at ₹107.46 and diesel at ₹95.70 per liter. In Patna, the capital of Bihar, the price of petrol stands at ₹105.71 and diesel at ₹91.49. Meanwhile, in Bengaluru, petrol is selling at a rate of ₹102.96 and diesel at ₹90.99. As for Lucknow, petrol continues to be priced at ₹95.34 and diesel at ₹88.50 per liter.
