PM Kisan Yojana: now the filing of land will be rejected, know when the eighth installment will come

The central government is providing financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually to the farmers. Now to take advantage of the scheme, farmers will have to do a mutation of land in their own name. 

New Delhi: Presenting the budget for the financial year 2021-22, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a reduction in the amount allocated for PM Kisan Yojana. Since the budget was reduced, the government has started clamping down on ineligible farmers who are taking advantage of the scheme. The government is preparing to withdraw installment money from ineligible farmers. Ineligible farmers cannot take advantage of this scheme, so the government has issued some stringent rules regarding the new beneficiaries of the scheme.




Mutations necessary for the benefit of the scheme The

government hastaken this step to bring transparency in PM Kisan Yojana . Now the benefit of this scheme will be available only to the farmers, who do not have agricultural land allotted in their name. According to the new rules, now those farmers will not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana, who are availing this scheme only on the basis of LPC in their grandfather-great-grandfather’s land. The numberof such farmers in the country isvery large, who have not got mutation of agricultural land in their name. However, these new rules will not affect the old beneficiaries associated with the scheme.

Now there will be a plot number.

There are many farmer families in the country whose agricultural land is combined. Such farmerswere taking advantageof the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi schemeon the basis of their share of Khatiyani land. Now the farmers will have to get their share of land in their name, only then they will be able to take advantage of this scheme. New applicants who are registering for PM Kisan Yojana will now also have to mention their land plot number in the application form.

When will the eighth installment 

so far, seven installments of this scheme have been released. This seventh installment has also reached the accounts of many farmers. The eighth installment of this scheme can also be released by the end of March. It is worth noting that under this scheme, every farmer is provided financial assistance of 6,000 annually.
