New Delhi: The central government provides direct cash assistance of Rs 6,000 every financial year to eligible farmers. The government sends this amount to the farmers’ account in three equal installments. Under this scheme, the government has so far sent a total of seven installments. All the three installments of the current financial year have been transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers. Now the next installment of this scheme will be transferred by the government to the bank account of the eligible farmers anytime between April and July. PM Kisan Scheme Registration Process
The registration process for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme is quite easy. You can apply for this scheme to the Panchayat Secretary or Patwari or local Common Service Center. Apart from this, you can also register for this scheme yourself. Let’s know the online registration process:
1. Go to the official website of PM Kisan.
2. Now go to Farmers Corner.
3. Here you click on the option of ‘New Farmer Registration’.
4. After this, the Aadhaar number has to be entered. Also, you have to select the state by entering captcha code and then proceed the process.
5. In this form you have to fill your complete personal details.
6. Also the bank account details and field information will have to be filled. After this you can submit the form.

However, before registering, you should check the eligibility of this scheme. Professionals such as farming CAs, lawyers, doctors may not get the benefit of this scheme. Also, if you file an income tax return or you get a monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000, then you cannot avail this scheme.
