Procedure To Check LPG Subsidy Status Online

All LPG customers need to purchase fuel at retail rates. However, by directly transferring the amount of the subsidy to the users’ bank accounts, the government subsidises 12 cylinders of 14.2 kg per household per year. Generally, LPG rates are updated on 1st of every month and the government extends subsidy to users of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) at present.  Sometimes, it may occur that you need to manually verify if the subsidy has been transferred to your account or not. We’re explaining how you can verify the status of the gas subsidy of IOCL, HP and BPCL government-owned companies. By following the below-given steps you can check the LPG status online on the unified website.

  • Visit http://mylpg.in/  and enter your LPG ID in the right-hand side of the space provided
  • Depending on which OMC LPG you are using, you will have to fill required user credentials accordingly
  • Now enter your 17 digit LPG ID and registered mobile number
  • Now enter the captcha code and click on ‘Proceed’
  • You will get an OTP on your entered mobile number
  • Now on the next page, you need to enter your email ID and create a password
  • Once done, you will get an activation link on your email id, click on that link and your account will be activated
  • Now, login mylpg.in account and enter your mention if your bank and Aadhaar card are linked is to your LPG account in the pop-up message
  • Now click on the ‘View Cylinder Booking History/subsidy transferred’ option

How to get your LPG ID?

  • Click on the option below your 17 digit LPG Number, in case you don’t know your LPG ID
  • Now you need to select your OMC LPG name from the three alternatives i.e. Bharat Gas, HP Gas or Indane
  • Now you will be redirected to a new page where you will be asked to enter a few details such as your phone number, your distributor name, your consumer number, depending on the company you selected
  • Now you need to enter the captcha code and click on ‘Submit’

Note: The PAHAL (DBTL) scheme of the government ensures that the subsidy of LPG cylinders are provided directly to the customers’ Aadhaar linked bank accounts. In the meantime, under PMUY, the government has already given 8 crore-free LPG connections to poor women to eco-sustainable fuel in households.
