Schools Holiday 2025: Schools will remain closed on 1st and 2nd August in government and non-government schools, order issued

Due to heavy rains, a dozen government and non-government schools in Rajasthan have been decided to remain closed on August 1 and 2. Anganwadi centres will also remain closed during this period. It has been made mandatory for all schools to follow the instructions.

Schools Holiday 2025: There is a relief news for the school students of Rajasthan. Due to continuous heavy rains, holidays have been extended once again in many districts. In some districts, schools will remain closed till August 1 and in some districts till August 2. August 3 is Sunday, so now schools will open on August 4. Apart from this, in the month of August also, there will be the benefit of long holidays due to Rakshabandhan, August 15, Janmashtami, Sunday. In this, students can also get the benefit of 3 holidays together from 15 to 17 August.

Holidays declared in these districts of Rajasthan

Sri Ganganagar: Due to rain, holiday has been declared for students on Friday, 1 August 2025, in all government, non-government schools and Anganwadi centers of the district.

Bikaner: In view of the warning of heavy rain, holiday has been declared in the school on 1st and 2nd August in the district.

Hanumangarh: On the recommendation of the Chief District Education Officer, District Collector Dr. Khushal Yadav has declared a one-day (1st August) public holiday today in all private and government schools, Anganwadi centers.

Alwar, Kota, Dholpur, Bharatpur: In view of the continuous rain in the district, holiday has been declared on August 1 for all government and non-government schools and Anganwadi centers operating in the district.

Jhunjhunu, Nagaur: -Holiday has been declared for the students of all government and non-government schools and coaching institutes on 1st and 2nd August.

Baran, Jhalawar, Didwana Kuchaman: In view of heavy rains in the district, holiday has been declared in schools from class 1 to 12 till August 2.

Sawai Madhopur: In view of the warning of heavy rains in the district, holiday has been declared on August 1 and 2 for students studying in classes 1 to 12 in schools and Anganwadi centers.

Bundi: In view of the continuous rain in the district, holiday has been declared till August 2 for students from class 1 to 12 in all government and private schools of the district.

Behror: Keeping in view the warning and forecast of heavy rains in the district, the District Collector has declared holiday on August 1 and 2 in all Anganwadi centers and all government and non-government schools from class 1 to 12 in the district.
