Travelers preparing to travel from India to the United Arab Emirates will have to wait longer. The UAE government has extended the duration of the travel ban indefinitely in view of the ever increasing cases of corona virus in India. In Abu Dhabi, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement released on its website that the decision has been taken to stop the spread of the corona virus.

Date not to end the ban

The UAE Ministry of External Affairs has not given the last date for this ban, which started from 22 April. However, there is no restriction on passengers coming from UAE to India. In such a situation, Indian or UAE citizens can come to India from flights coming from there.

Many countries have imposed travel restrictions on India

Due to the second wave of corona virus in India, many countries have imposed travel restrictions. This includes the United States, France, Israel, Australia, Hong Kong, Britain, UAE, Canada, Pakistan, New Zealand, Singapore, among many other countries. These countries have temporarily banned travelers from India. They are afraid that if a new strain of corona virus has arrived in their country, then there may be a huge catastrophe.

The most stringent restrictions in Australia

Australia has imposed the most stringent restrictions on travelers coming from India to prevent the spread of the corona virus. From May 3 to May 14, no passenger can leave India from Australia. Travelers who break into this ban or reach Australia secretly through another country can face a fine of up to 5 years or a fine of up to Rs 50 lakh. There has been a lot of uproar in Australia after the government’s decision.
