Trouble for SBI customers, will not be able to use internet and mobile banking for three days

SBI: Due to technical upgradation and maintenance, on May 21, 22 and 23, you will not be able to use internet banking or phone banking on the YONO platform.

SBI: State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest bank, is going to be a problem for customers. Customers of this major bank cannot access internet and mobile banking on May 21, 22, 23.

Not only this, on May 23 also, NEFT services will not be available. Services are going to be affected due to technical upgradation and maintenance.

This will be the time
State Bank of India (SBI) customers will not be able to use internet banking or phone banking on the YONO platform on May 21, 22 and 23 due to technical upgradation and maintenance.

A tweet from the bank’s official handle stated, “We will do maintenance activities on May 21, 2021 at 22:45 and May 22, 2021 between 01:15 and May 23, 2021 between 02:40 and 06:10 . ” .

SBI has said that customers cannot use Internet banking, Yono and Yono Lite. In other words, no transaction or banking related work can be done during this period.

This service will also be closed
Apart from SBI internet, NEFT service is also going to be closed. Earlier this week, RBI also informed all customers that NEFT service will not be available from 12.01 am to 2 pm on May 23, 2021.

The central bank noted that the technical upgrading of NEFT is scheduled after the closure of business on 22 May to increase performance and flexibility.

This service will be on
The RTGS system will continue to operate as usual during this period. A similar technical upgrade for RTGS was completed on 18 April, but now many customers will face problems with the new advisory of SBI.

In order to not have much impact on the customers, SBI has said that maintenance work will be done at the end of the night – around 3.5 pm on 23 May and 1.5 pm on 21-22 May.

These banks have already taken steps
Earlier in the last few weeks, major banks such as SBI, HDFC, BoB and ICICI had temporarily closed their services to tighten technical upgrades and security features. However, planned shutdowns are usually done late at night to reduce the impact on people.
