Now Prem Sagar has told some such things related to the Ramayana shooting, which you will also understand that making such a serial was a big challenge in those days. Prem Sagar says that there were many VFX in the show in which technology was less and jugaad more.

They say- If there was a morning shoot, then we used to show fog through the smoke of incense sticks. At the same time, if shooting was done at night, clouds would be made through cotton. Prem says- We used to put cotton on the glass several times during the night shooting. Then he used to fit in the camera and shoot. Many such slides were used in slide projectors, then such effects were seen.

ugh many scenes in the Ramayana are memorable, but there were also some people who saw the creep. One such scene was the dance of Lord Shiva on the Himalayas. Now many scenes had to be done to show that scene. Prem Sagar explains about this- We used a screen in the background to shoot that scene. Then pictures of small planets were shown through the projector.

This is how war scenes were shotAt the same time, the scenes of war in the Ramayana were also very attractive. Those arrows hitting each other, thunder clouds, all the effects are still fresh in the minds of viewers. At that time, SEG 2000 was used to shoot those scenes. She had come to the market at that time and not many people knew about it. According to Prem Sagar, glass matting was also used for special effects.

Let me tell you that every artist did one day and night while shooting the Ramayana. Ramanand Sagar himself was also able to write the script of a scene several times till 3 in the morning. But as soon as that script was completed, the shooting of the scene would start. Whatever the time, it was very important to air the episode on time. The same process continued from the beginning to the end and about 100 artists followed this difficult routine.

At this time when there is a lockdown in the country, then there is a lot of discussion of Ramayana. The record-breaking TRP of the show indicates that the show must be old, but if the content is good and the acting is unmatched, the audience’s heart can definitely be won.
